A tribute to Hunsdeep Singh Rangar
Hunsdeep “Huns” Singh Rangar was recognizable from afar for his infectious smile, unending wit and charming original humor. He touched an endless number of people and brought smiles to each one during his lifetime.
Huns was a son, husband, father, brother, public servant, entrepreneur, organizer of Ottawa’s annual South Asian Fest and radio show host and producer with CHIN 97.9 FM multicultural radio. He was 43 when he passed away on June 7, 2019.
Describing himself as being “made in India and packaged in Canada,” his legacy lives on with every beat of music that plays on Ottawa’s airways.
